Webmaster's Note:

      The Night of the Hunter is a wonderfully macabre film noir and is available on video.  Look for the especially disturbing scene in which preacher Robert Mitchum tells a story using his left and right hands, which have L O V E and H A T E tattooed on their respective knuckles.  I thought I was the only one who had a tattoo like that. -- BH
