- Backstrip

A decorative inlay running down the center of the back of the body.
- Bridge

A piece of wood glued to the top of the body that holds the strings to the guitar. The bridge holds the saddle and the bridge pins.
- Binding
-
The inlaid trim near the edges of a guitar body and neck.
- Body
-
The section of the guitar with the hourglass shape. A guitar's body consists of the upper bout, the waist and the lower bout.
- Bracing
-
Strips of hardwood on the underside of the soundboard that are used to carry string tension and to maintain the stability of the top, while still providing the soundboard with the flexibility to vibrate freely.
- Bridge Pins
-
Little tapered pegs that are used to anchor the strings in the bridge. They are made of plastic, wood, bone, ivory or another hard material.
- Bridge Plate
-
Wood underneath the top of the bridge, used to reinforce it.
